"Life's like that"

Back from the Aikido leadership training camp (LTC). Dead tired and frustrated. Really, really frustrated.
Yea, we are now having holidays that are only unique to Singapore Polytechnic: the E-Learning week. Supposedly for study purposes, since its right before most of our mid-semester tests (MSTs). But poly students being poly students, none of us would really give that much of a shit. And Solomon being Solomon, he is only half-aware that the MSTs are just next week. So he decided to camp it out in school for a precious 3 days and nights cuz he's too lazy to study =D
The Aikido LTC camp was somewhat of a disappointment, as I, like a few of the others, agree that it wasn't packed full of activities like ALL LTC camps should have. You know, to keep us occupied with group activities or they can't really gauge and select the next batch of community members to lead the CCA. And stuff like that. But hey, I ain't complaining much cuz personally, I had fun. Bonding here and there, a few good laughs, and lots of vegetables.
Btw, for the ignorant, I started on a no-meat diet about a week back. Was supposed to be part of a bet with Yu Tian, but with no money involved. Yea, I know. The irony of it. Don't even ask me why I started the bet in the first place ._. Spur of the moment thing? I'd say so. S'been only a week and I'm already having hallucinations. Dang.
Its all good fun though. And I have to diet out my chubbiness anyway, no thanks to the people who pointed out that I was getting fat. Also, it didn't help that we had a BBQ on the last night of camp >_>
The only things really worth noting during camp was that our Fishcake won a 16-man Pepsi Cola game. And that I somehow ended up pairing with her for the night walk. Best nightwalk I had in ages though, as the seniors actually planned it right this time. Rubina's outfit was kinda uncalled for though. And oh, we started on the Aikido banner as well, since the CCA drive's just around the corner. I only did the base layout of the banner since I wasn't confident on drawings anywhere other than on paper. Other than that, it was a hell lot of random games. And randomness from random aikido people.
Camp ended off with a special 4-hour training. We started flipping immediately after the usual formalities, for a solid 3 and a half hours. Extra half an hour was done after training. Sparred with Kok. Got out with a couple of big ass bruises, with one literally near my ass. Now I can't walk 5 steps without my knee buckling. Lol.
I demand a rematch.
