"Have a good one."
No, I won't stick a IMEEM music box on my already-overfilled blog. Shut up. Stop asking. Damned. Fuck.
Either that or my reebok up your ass.
Anyway, it has since been another lengthly period since I last blogged, though not as significant as previous ones. Why do I have the time to? Simple: I sprained my ankle. Yep. For all those who've been wondering exactly what was my most recent achievement's about (as stated in the profile section), yep. Its exactly as I put it out to be. I sprained my ankle on a 540 attempt. 68 kg (Don't ask.) slamming down on one badly positioned ankle isn't something even I would find particularly impressive on a good day.
Jin: Face it dude. You just suck.
Hey, no one's perfect, yo. And I find it ironic hearing that from a guy who bailed on his crotch just last weekend. God bless your kids, if you are gonna have any.
Anyway, the cast and bandages are off, and the medicine's taken. So I should be fine by tomorrow, more or less. My school's CCA drive's just around the corner, and our newly-anointed president of the SP Aikido committee, Abel is pulling people in to do our CCA demo. So I can't afford to NOT be in my best. Truth be told, I found it at first, flattering that he approached me. But then again, it's ABEL. Pushing all personal interests aside, I reminded him that there ARE better candidates amongst us, and that I should be one of the last he'll choose as honestly, I'm really slacked with the techniques nowadays.
My lackadaisical attempts at defensive martial arts are pitiful, really. I'm starting to really wonder whether I'll go far in this shit. From gung-ho, son-of-a-bitch-schizo, flying wushu kicks, to going so far as to wait for the first hit, and even worse, hoping you learned a good counter for it? Not really my thing. But then again, thats what they all
say in the beginning.
Again, I remind myself that I had my fair share of the chicken pie, that I made my fair share of bitches during the 1 year in the CCA, and that I wouldn't have wanted it any other way.
I am THAT fucking sure, though, that working at Seoul Gardens isn't as hell my cup of tea. My gay, juicy spleen for four fucking fifty an hour. God help me.
PS: Abel for president. Me for membership secretary. Yay.

"But?"
But, indeed. Working at Seoul Gardens gets interesting as well. You can say it has an almost equal amount of positive effect on Solomon, yours truely, as much as it has negative. So that won't change the fact that I'm leaving at the end of March, or early April.
Still, lets take a look at some of the more interesting stuff that happened at SG.
Case #014
Me: -stands and stones-
Korean Guy: -motions over-
Me: -snapping out of funk, walks over- Yes sir, how can I help you?
Korean Guy: Deh soop is very bluhnd >.<
Me: Yes sir.
Korean Guy: Suh can ei have sum sold?
Me: (wtf?) Sorry sir, can you repeat that?
Korean Guy: Sum sold, pease.
Me: Ah.
-pause-
Korean Guy: Eu no, sold and pappar? o.o
Me: OH, you need some salt?
Korean Guy: Yar. Solded =D
I cannot emphasize how awkward am I around foreigners who try to speak english, and fail terribly. But it is SEOUL gardens after all. Yay for the korean company who gave me a job.
Case #037
Me: -walks pass a columbian tourist group-
Tourist A: 'EY BOEI.
Me: -turns back- Yes ma'am?
Tourist A: Gart meh sum solded.
Me: (lolwth, not again) Sure. Brb ma'am.
Tourist B: Halp meh gart plahte. Big big =]
Me: No problem.
(About 2 mins later)
Me: Here's your salt ma'am. And your plate, sir.
Tourist B: Thunk ews.
Tourist A: -sniffs salt- BOEI.
Me: Yea?
Tourist A: Dis nuht solded.
Me: -looks at white stuff- Uh, yes it is, ma'am >.o
Tourist A: NUH. Change naw. Gib meh solded.
Me: ......yes ma'am -takes bowl and takes a detour around the table-
Tourist B: H'musta? Deoni ja heeeeeir, solded.
Tourist A: Goon-loi heeir. Tak ar'ia.
Tourist B: Goon-loi. SOLDED.
Me: -about to walk out of listening range-
Tourist A: BOEI.
Me: (fuck.) -turns back- Yes ma'am?
Tourist A: Gibme dat.
Me: .....right -hands over the solded-
Uncalled for. Really.
Other stuff worth mentioning? Well, there was once this little girl who was holding a plate of spaghetti, and due to some disagreement with her father, she just stood on the spot and went "kyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa x((((" while doing....you know, what some kids do. They turn their upper body to one side, and the lower body to the other. Left right left right left right. So the noodles in her plate went left, right flying as well. Which I promptly cleaned up.
lol.
There are ALOT of other stuff that I can mention, relating to customers. But I'd think my wonderful colleagues deserve a fair mention as well.
Case #065
Me: -is in kitchen preparing soup-
Voice from behind: -walks pass- 'EY, Solo!
Me: -turns around and sees Han, a full time worker- HEEEEEEEEEEY. Waddup man.
Han: Yo yo yo! -does overenthusiastic rocker sign-
Me: Awesome!!!1 METAL FER LIFE >:3
Han: METALLL!!!!!11one -even more enthusiastic rocker sign-
*Phillip, another full time worker, walks into our overdramatic exchange*
Phillip: -looks- o.o?
-pause-
Han/Me: METALLLL!!!!!1 >=DDDDDDD *extreme enthusiasm*
Phillip: O.o
Han/Me: =DDDDDDDDDDDDD
-pause, take 5-
Phillip: METALLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!11 -bends over and does sign-
lmao, for those who work at SG that are reading this blog, yep, that was how the whole 'metal' thing started. Don't ask me why we do that everytime we past each other in the kitchen and after working-hours tho.
Instinct, maybe.
Yea, instinct. Metal for life!

"I like bagel"
HELLO! -insertsenthusiasm-
A little over half a month since I last blogged. God knows I'm more lazy than busy to type up a new post nowadays. Seoul Gardens does take ALOT of shit out of you.
Huh? Oh. Right. I've been working at SG Marina Square for the past 1 month or so, for those ignorant. And before you start flooding in during my working hours to make my life hell, I'd like to inform you that I am very prone to shoving my newly bought rebok boots up people's asses nowadays.
You have been warned.
Holiday mood? Dude, its THAT good enough that my mood levels are reduced, but kept neutral ever since pay day, 29th Feb. The system at SG is screwed up. Like, majorly screwed up. Like how, you ask? Like, you know: almost every damned job out there gives you your dough at the end of the month, counting every hour and every incentive you rightfully earned. Right so far?
It just so happens that SG is that one out of the million companies that pays part-timers at the END of the month, but counts your hours worked only from the 15th of the previous month, to the 15th of the current month. And I worked from the 31st of Jan, expecting a full month's worth of 600 bucks in my POSB savings( could have been an 8 or more, but due to my Bali vacation, and other reasons I will later elaborate, I missed quite a number of days off work ). And voila! 240 bucks was credited to my bank account. God bless Seoul Gardens and all its CEOs and Vice-Ups.
Thank you, sir. You made my day. Or days, plural. Days all the way to the actual 4 months I wanted to work at Seoul. Their idea of 'waiter's there are basically EVERYTHING there. Cashier, buffet counter, customer service, cleaner, cook, technical and physical laborers. And you'd think labor like taking 7 plates, 5 side plates, 5 bowls and 2 cups on ONE hand and carrying a hot burning stove (you know, those black plates at soul gardens where u fry your meat on) with boiling soup on it, along with a dozen utensils and a flask full of garbage on the OTHER hand was bad enough.
Yes sir. I love working at SG.

'ho there.
This is basically a list of all the shit I collected for the past few months or so. Programs, games from various genres, entire albums/discographies of song artistes, animes, etc etc.
It's a pretty damn small collection, but this is where YOU come in.
This whole thing can work out good both ways. You, reader, as long as you provide me the blank DVDs/CDs, I can get whatever it is you want on my list burned for ya. Also, if the thing you want isn't on my list, feel free to post your requests on my tagbox.
All I need is your name, and the full name of the program/song/anime/game.
This way, you get what you want, and at the same time my collection increases as well.
Sound good?
